The WSIA SUMMIT is a can’t-miss annual gathering of the senior leadership of all the major companies in the towed water sports industry. We focus not on competition and sales, but collaboration and education and how we can advance our activities for all.

Beaver Run Resort offers the best location in Breck, located between the mountain and Main Street. There is so much to see and do, all within a short walk or ride.

Every room is different! Our location features a range of slopeside guest accommodations, including hotel rooms, studios, one and two bedroom condominiums, along with large executive and specialty suites that can sleep up to 12 people.

Keynote: Joel Hartter

Joel Hartter is a sustainable business strategist, entrepreneur, author, scientist, and educator with more than two decades of global experience across public, private, and non-profit sectors. His work focuses on embedding sustainability into business and culture, helping organizations achieve strategic growth while safeguarding resources for future generations.

Joel has guided startups to Fortune 500 companies and collaborated with local, state, and federal governments, higher education institutions, and non-profits to design human-centered strategies that drive impact. As a member of the global Sustainability Council for Volkswagen Group, he helps shape sustainability at one of the world’s largest automakers, with a focus on innovation and responsibility.

Joel founded Parallel Labs, an agency that turns sustainability into brand distinction. By blending sustainability and brand strategy, Parallel Labs empowers leaders to unlock growth and enhance brand distinction. Joel is also a professor at the University of Colorado, where he teaches over 21,000 students annually, preparing the next generation of leaders to drive innovation, foster environmental stewardship, and deliver value for business.

In his keynote, Joel will explore the workforce, environmental, and market dynamics that intersect the water sports industry in this “new economy” of outdoor recreation, sharing valuable insights to position businesses for long-term success.

Join us outside by the resort lift to network and have fun with other attendees as we send off a group to complete the Maniac Downhill.


Maniac Downhill

A big group of attendees will travel together to the top of a designated lift. That group will navigate their way down a prescribed special course, ending at the resort lift and our private outdoor apre ski reception.
